Jiro Inagaki
Having been active as a professional musician since he was a high school student, he formed his own group "Inagaki Jiro Quintet" in 1962 after he participated in "Franky Sakai and City Slickers" and "George Kawaguchi and Big Four". In the following year, he participated in the "Raiorne Hampton Orchestra" performance in Japan and "Hideo Shiraki Quintet" with Terumasa Hino. In 1969, he formed the jazz rock style group "Jiro Inagaki and Soul Media". His works of those days are still being pursued by rare groove enthusiasts around the world.
As a session player, he performed with "Stevie Wonder", "Stylistics", "Frank Sinatra", "The Temptations", and "Shardy" in Japan. As a producer and music director, he has worked on "Hideki Saijo" and "Pink Lady", and has been widely involved in the production of the "NIAGARA" series by Eiichi Otaki. He still at works as a player and producer.
