『宇宙戦艦ヤマト』はアニメ史に残る不朽の名作。その主題歌「宇宙戦艦ヤマト」、「真っ赤なスカーフ」、そしてサウンドトラックと数々の名曲を生み出している。
2012年7月より2年にわたり、TVシリーズ第1作から、劇場用作品「完結編」までの「宇宙戦艦ヤマト」シリーズを彩った音楽を網羅する「YAMATO SOUND ALMANAC」シリーズ、全30タイトルをリリース。第1回発売はシリーズ最大のヒットを誇る「交響組曲 宇宙戦艦ヤマト」をはじめ、待望の初CD化音源含む4タイトルで、オリジナルマスターをBlu-spec仕様でCD化。2014年8月よりハイレゾ配信も堂々スタート。
~The Space Battleship Yamato Series’ First Music Almanac!~
Uchu Senkan Yamato (Space Battleship Yamato) is a timeless masterpiece that has an honored place in animation history. The series is also accompanied by a soundtrack featuring a number of well-loved songs including the title theme Uchu Senkan Yamato (Space Battleship Yamato) and Maakka na Skaafu (Red Scarf).
Over a two-year period beginning in July 2012, all 30 titles were made into a series covering the entire spectrum of music from Yamato, ranging from the big hits from the first program in the TV series beginning in 1974 through to the 1983 theatrical animated movie Uchuu Senkan Yamato Kanketsu Hen (Space Battleship Yamato: Final Saga), and were released as the Yamato Sound Almanac Series. The first release of four titles covers as slew of long-awaited first-time-on-CD sound sources including the series’ biggest hit Kokyokumikyoku Uchu Senkan Yamato (Space Battleship Yamato: Symphonic Suite), and the original masters were digitalized with Blu-spec specifications. High-resolution distribution of these titles began in August 2014.
