~A Soloist Who Plays Quality Pop Music by Combining Dance Keyboards and a Gorgeous Falsetto Voice~
Vicke Blanka began his solo musical activities under his real name of Junya Yamaike. Thanks to his overwhelming song quality and talent, he received offers to sign up with a long list agencies and labels, but after a number of bumps and detours, in the end he didn’t enter into contracts with any of them.
Then he dropped his real name and began to pursue solo activities as Vicke Blanka. In the course of appearing in circuit festivals in various places, he gradually expanded his popularity through performances that drew in the audience.
He attracted a lot of attention at MINAMI WHEEL 2012, where his Wake Up Sweetheart was voted the top song in the FM802 project. His unique worldview overflows with wit, very pure pop melodies, and an androgynous falsetto voice that is capable of singing these songs in an inimitable style.
