2012年1月結成。様々なジャンルを通過した音楽性から個々の解釈でポップに消化し、独自の世界観を産み出す。
Gt.だいじろーとDr.なずおによるテクニカルなインストゥルメンタル、そこにふわっと薫るように存在するVo./B.えみちょこの透き通った歌声。
2013年10月、ミニアルバム『染まる音を確認したら』でデビュー。
ポストロックをよりポップに消化した独自の世界観で多くのリスナーをうならせ、リリースイベントも大盛況となった。
さらに海外レーベルからのオファーやイベント出演オファーも急増。
2014年5月にはカナダ3カ所を回るツアーにも参加。ワールドワイドな活躍が期待されるバンド。
~A 3-Piece Progressive Pop Band from Kyoto~
Formed in January 2012, Uchu Conbini has passed through a variety of genres and given each their own interpretation in order to sublimate them into pop and give birth to a unique worldview. Their sound is characterized by the almost transparently clear voice of Emi Ohki (vocals/bass) floating above the technical instrumentation of Daijiro Nakagawa (guitar), and Yuto Sakai (drums).
The group made their recording debut in October 2013 with the mini album Somaru Oto o Kakunin Shitara. They impressed a lot of listeners with a unique perspective that sublimates post-rock into a more pop style, and their release-time event was enthusiastically greeted. This leads to a sharp rise in offers from overseas labels and requests to appear in events around the world.
After participating in a Canadian tour in May 2014, where they played at three venues, Uchu Conbini is now widely expected to expand their activities and achieve further successes internationally.
