原田郁子、ミト、伊藤大助が専門学校で出会い、1995年に結成。シングル『はなれ ばなれ』で、1999年にメジャーデビュー。当初よりライヴやレコーディングなどにおいて様々なアーティストとのコラボレーションを重ね、楽曲提供、プロデュース、執筆活動など多岐に渡る活動を続けながら、バンドとして独自のスタンスを築き上げている。2007年7枚目となるオリジナルアルバム『Musical』をリリース。その後行われたライブツアー「tour Musical」を追ったクラムボン初のドキュメンタリー映画『たゆ たう』が2008年全国劇場にて公開。各地で異例のロングランを記録。2009年には高音質配信(24bit/48KHz WAV)での新曲を発表。

Ikuko Harada, Mito and Daisuke Ito, who met up at technical college, formed Clammbon in 1995. They made their major recording debut in 1999 with the single Hanare Banare. From the beginning, they collaborated extensively with other artists on live performances and recordings, and they have continued to engage in wide-ranging activities such as providing songs to other artists, producing, writing, etc., while at the same time establishing a unique stance.
In 2007, Clammbon released their seventh album Musical. In 2008, the group’s first documentary film Tayutau, which followed a live tour called “Tour Musical”, was shown in Japanese movie theaters. This film had an unusually long run in movie theaters all over the country. In 2009, Clammbon released new music using high-quality sound distribution (24bit/48KHz WAV).
